Yesterday, on June 12, young designer and fashionista Gianna Dunand launched a By Gianna pop-up shop in Soho for a week-long mini-takeover of the second-hand vintage luxury store No Standing NYC. By Gianna is worn by celebrities like Hailey Beiber and Madelyn Cline, fashion influencers Alix Earle, Kelsey Calemine and Devon Pollon, and even model designer Saskia Teje. It’s easy to see why this young brand is so popular with its flexible and mix-match style for comfy everyday wear and casual outings.
The pop-up contains a few items from the label’s popular “Villa” collection, such as the linen tank and linen ‘Blanche’ maxi. Of course, NYC exclusive items, including two crochet ‘Ella’ minis and ‘Star’ tank, are available for purchase. FOMO may hit hard because the pop-up exclusives will not be available online.
Fashionistas don’t need to break the bank as prices vary and range from affordable to pricey. Shoppers can expect to pay no more than $160 for a single item, with the least expensive item sold for $12. Everyone can leave with something, which is a major plus as all clothing articles from By Gianna are hand-made with excellent attention to detail.
No RSVPs are necessary. Guests can arrive between 11 am – 7 pm, shop around, and pick up free stickers and cards. Moreover, shoppers can experience a sip-and-shop event between 4 pm and 7 pm on day two. More pop-up special events may be down the pipeline for guests to enjoy as the week goes by. Interested parties have until June 19 to get their hands on these fab and limited items.
